We have received a review on the2014 CEEPO MAMBA from our Australian Pro Triathlete, Justin Granger, and are happy to share it with you:
“Having spent considerable time on my Tri Bike (CEEPO Katana) I was excited to get on board the new 2014 Mamba, which I set up as my pure road bike. I am doing a little block of base miles at present and have spent many hours out the back roads of the Noosa Hinterland.
The roads out there are fairly coarse and I am really enjoying the comfortable ride that the Mamba offers – this is helping to reduce the fatigue that the road shock normally dishes out. Climbing is considerably better thanks to the Mamba’s lightness and great power transfer from drive chain to wheel. Descending is where the bike is well ahead of itself! I easily roll past much heavier rides than myself and I believe it must be the Mamba’s frame profile, as it cuts through the air. The handling is fantastic and I am carving up the road like a downhill skier on snow!
Overall I am thrilled to be riding the 2014 Mamba and it will be my best tool in preparation for the 2014 Triathlon year.” - Justin Granger
From CEEPO R&D Team:
When we started to work on the Mamba project, our list of goals inclined the following qualities:
- Aerodynamic efficiency
- Light and stiff
- Great downhill stability while maintaining the road bike feel and agility
- Great climbing feel
So you can understand how happy we feel reading Justin Granger’s report about his new Mamba frame. Talk about hitting the center of the target!
We knew that our Mamba was right on track as we rode the first prototype all 2013 summer, but there’s nothing like the pro’s feedback as they are riding daily and they expect pro quality Bikes from us!
